Aidan
Aidan Doyle is a Melbourne-based writer and computer programmer.
His short stories have been published or are forthcoming in places such as Fantasy Magazine, Weird Tales, Aurealis, Orb, Borderlands and Reflection’s Edge. Two of his short stories have received honorable mentions in Gardner Dozois’ Year’s Best SF collections.
He has had more than 50 articles published in places such as Salon, The Internet Review of Science Fiction, Science Fiction Weekly, The Age, Melbourne’s Child, Melbourne Weekly, Student Traveler, Transitions Abroad, Voiceworks, Australian PC Gamer, San Francisco Weekly, Film Ink and Kansai Scene.
He has worked as a computer games programmer and designer, software consultant and web site programmer.
Aidan loves travelling and has visited more than 70 countries. He worked as a journalist in Bolivia, studied Spanish in Guatemala, took the Trans-Siberian across Russia, went ice-wall climbing in Alaska, took the Indian Pacific train from Perth to Sydney and taught English in Japan.
