The Long Write is the group blog of four writers who shared an apartment at the Clarion South Writers Workshop in 2009.
Clarion South is a 6-week intensive residential science fiction and fantasy workshop held once every two years in Brisbane, Australia.
Our apartment number was 336. For various reasons, it was nicknamed by the other Clarionites as apartment 666. Ben thinks it’s a misnomer. Steph wonders if 666 is a noun or an adjective. Su Lynn would like to point out that we’re all INTXs on the Myers-Briggs, so maybe that has something to do with it. Aidan says it’s the nicest quasi-demonic qualifier he’s gotten in a long time.
This is a corner of the web where we share our thoughts on all aspects of writing and writing-related industries, genre news, resources, celebrate story sales, bemoan rejections and hopefully provide other writers with some tips on our way to making more professional sales.
